How to run EVM-based dApps on TON
There was a meta to launch dApps using the Telegram mini-app feature.
There were various projects like Sui, Ethereum, and Solana, but Telegram ended up signing an exclusive contract with the TON network.
dApps can no longer use the Telegram dApp feature unless they switch to TON.
Initially, projects received a lot of mainnet grants and had already gathered users and issued NFTs or tokens, so they had no choice but to leave Telegram. At this time, there are quite a few projects that moved to Kaia and launched on Line.
The ones who came out to solve this are @TacBuild, claiming they will allow EVM-based dApps to be deployed on the TON network.
Since the development supply in the EVM camp is better, it seems like good news for projects that want to be listed on the Telegram mini-app.
