2018: Dusted -98% of port from 2017
2020: Found some dust on Huobi, used it to participate in DeFi summer. 20X'ed port then got wiped out Q4 after a bad rug and the discovery of leverage trading -100% and in debt.
2021: Put paychecks into crypto to try again, $500 into $20K AKITA at launch randomly. Would've been $50M if I held but ohwell. Run it up 2021, lose -50% of networth in summer of 2021 by holding ETH.
2022: Lose seeds that I stored at my mom's house after moving out. -90% wipe.
2023: Grind trenches, extremely below 2021 ATH but simply do not know how to quit.
2024: Built a decent stack then blessed by AI szn Q4
2025: Hit TRUMP, Multiples higher than 2021 ATH, then drawdown -60% of port from Jan > April (Thanks Melania and Argentina)
2025: Generational run on BSC
Sept 2025: Overconfident and got caught in the BSC nuclear winter. Massively overexposed to the eco right before the worst liquidation event in history.
Luckily I was only holding spot.
$ASTER performed well relative to the rest of the market so I sold it and went mega long on Hyperliquid (ironic) and made 80% of what I lost 24 hours later.
It's not about being the best trader, it's about not getting wiped out. And even if you do get wiped out, to be obsessive enough to not know how to quit I guess
No lessons here, probably survivorship bias.
