We’ve seen way crazier things with Polkadot, it’ll be fine
I think HIP3s 500k $HYPE requirement needs to be adjusted
the strategy for using retail capital to fund this is poor planning by some projects and will lead to massive retail losses
but asking MMs for a ~$20m loan that’s locked indefinitely with a high probability that 99% of startups fail will lead to less experimentation on HIP3
two options that come to mind
1) reduce the HYPE requirement to something more reasonable like 25K HYPE ( ~$1m )
2) keep it at 500k HYPE, but create an exit function that allows for HYPE to be withdrawn and the HIP3 market to be closed, with 5% of the HYPE from the stake burned as an exit parameter to ensure short term markets don’t keep popping up and closing down
